Captain Carlos Bueno Carvajal 41 year old Carlos grew up in Cartagena, southeastern Spain, where he started sailing when he was 8. He started competing in sailing regattas where he obtained good classifications, in many different boats and categories, and went on to become a professional seafarer. His qualifications include 200 Ton Professional Skipper, Professional Skipper Unlimited, Yacht Master, and PADI diver certificate, and he has completed courses such as survival at sea, GMDSS, sea aid rescue and fire-fighting. He has sailed on all sorts of vessels mostly around the Mediterranean, but also on the Atlantic, the Indian Ocean, and the Pacific. He enjoys sharing his sailing, fishing and diving skills, while his love of the sea and his friendly personality ensure a wonderful stay on board. Carlos speaks English, Spanish and some Italian.

Chef Oscar Pastor Contreras 36 year old Oscar grew up in Barcelona and commenced a career in public relations. When he moved to Ibiza, to work in many of its mythical clubs, he started sailing in regattas and discovered his love of the sea. This led him to channel his public relations skills, of making others comfortable, into cooking on boats. Oscar trained with French chef Olivier to develop his own international cuisine, based on fresh healthy ingredients, adapted to guests’ preferences. Oscar speaks Catalan, French, Italian, Spanish, and some English.

Carlos and Oscar enjoy working as a team, pooling their excellent seamanship and innovative cuisine to provide truly memorable charters. They are used to hosting people of all nationalities, backgrounds and ages, and are particularly happy when there are kids on board!
